The Marketing team at magicplan

Every restoration job starts the same way. A crew walks into a flooded basement or a burned-out kitchen, sizes up the damage, and gets the first photos and readings down. Nobody understands that job better than the people who stood in it. Then the job moves back to an office that never saw it, and much of what the crew learned gets lost along the way.

magicplan changes that. We’re the field-first system that captures everything that happens on a job site and carries it from the first day of mitigation through the final day of reconstruction. One job. One record. Captured once. Thousands of restoration contractors across North America and the world already run on magicplan. Marketing's job is to reach the ones who don't yet.

The Role

You'll join us as our founding Demand Generation Manager in North America, helping define how magicplan grows in its biggest market. You'll build the systems, campaigns, and experiments that turn the right restoration companies into customers.

You'll run programs across email, paid media, events, partnerships, and whatever new channels are worth exploring. You'll have the freedom to shape the strategy, move quickly, create the content that fuels your campaigns, and double down on what drives pipeline.

Restoration companies don't respond to generic SaaS marketing. Part of your job is understanding how they think, then building demand programs that speak their language.

This is a fully remote** role with plenty of autonomy and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

We’re not just looking for a match on paper—we want someone who’s passionate, driven, and ready to make things happen. If this sounds like you, let’s talk:

Build our demand generation engine
Develop campaigns across our existing channels and whatever new channels deserve to exist. We care far more about results than following a traditional playbook.

Create content people actually want to see or read
You'll draft landing pages, emails, guides, industry content, webinar decks, customer stories, and sales enablement materials.
Our customers are practical people solving real problems. Our content should be just as practical.

Experiment constantly
Some ideas will fail. That's expected. We're looking for someone who's constantly asking:
"What's another creative way we could reach them?"

Improve every step of the funnel
Work with Product and Sales to improve how prospects discover magicplan, evaluate it, activate successfully, and ultimately become customers.

Grow organic acquisition
Help shape our SEO/AEO & ASO strategy, improve website and app conversion, and build content that compounds over time.

Measure business impact
Traffic is nice. Downloads are nice. Pipeline is better.
You'll measure success by business outcomes and continuously improve based on what the data tells you.

Who You Are

  • You've run demand gen end-to-end, not just parts of it. You've worked in B2B marketing — ideally SaaS or tech. You can point to a specific campaign you built, what it generated, and what you learned when it didn't work.

  • You write the content yourself. Emails, landing pages, lead magnets, webinar scripts. You don't brief an agency and review a draft — you open a doc and write. You know how to use AI tools to go faster, but the quality is yours.

  • You've automated real marketing work with AI. You’ve already deployed AI agents or agentic workflows that support real marketing and GTM work, using LLMs and automation platforms as core infrastructure, not side experiments.

  • You own outcomes. You can talk about campaigns that moved pipeline, channels you scaled, experiments that failed, and what you learned.

  • You have taste. You know when something feels generic, even if you can't immediately explain why. You care about the details because they're often what make the difference.

  • You're commercially minded. You don't get attached to campaigns that aren't performing. You double down on what drives pipeline and cut what doesn't.

What Sets You Apart

None of these are required, but any of them will make you stand out:

  • You've worked in restoration, construction, field services, or insurance tech, and you get how these buyers think.

  • You're hands-on with tools like HubSpot, Customer.io, Clay, and Google Analytics.

  • You've created content for a specific vertical or a technical audience and know how to speak their language.

  • You've built and scaled an outbound engine from scratch.
